I’m also from Serbia, and have plans to became au-pair in America. Which agency has you been using? 
AuPairCare is a great agency to be with! They care about both the au pairs and the host families. It’s important to find the right family for you, don’t pick a host family just because of where they live. Have a great year! There are male au pairs, but not as many as female. It’s a great opportunity to travel and improve your English. You will make friends for life!
